Prevention Education Empowerment Training (PEET) Students from local area high schools meet with a 3E Now program coordinator weekly to design and build their own initiatives to combat dating violence and/or gender inequality. The program is designed to promote student empowerment so that young men and women can be a major voice in a movement to shift the social dynamic toward a more equal and safe world. Training includes: Dating violence 101 & Bystander Intervention with evidence-based curricula, leadership, communications and marketing. Coaching Boys into Men (CBIM) Coaching Boys into Men is a program designed by Futures without Violence to provide high school athletic coaches with the resources they need to promote respectful behavior among their players and help prevent relationship abuse, harassment, and sexual assault. 3E Now is one of the major service providers for CBIM, facilitating sessions with players, recruiting volunteers, and training coaches on the curriculum. "In its first years of existence, I have seen 3E Now take an active, leading role in preventing teen dating violence with hands-on, educational programming. They are helping to deliver Coaching Boys into Men in the Pittsburgh region in collaboration with other agencies, and I am proud to work with them in this regard. They are an emerging voice in not just gender-based violence, but in overall community health." The scenario-based curriculum focuses on providing bystanders with the tools to act when they witness violence or abuse. 3E Now is a trained service provider of MVP, and facilitates training sessions within high school and college-aged groups.
