The Mask Project is a new addition to our programming. In addition to watching the documentary, The Mask You Live In, 3E Now program participants create masks and contribute to a guided discussion about masculinity/femininity and identity and how that affects the health of a relationship. The outside of the mask depicts the societal pressures/stereotypes they experience and "the mask they wear" whereas the inside of the mask focuses on what they they can't express outwardly.

In June 2017, 3E Now delivered a program at St. Vincent's College to over 30 scholars from around Pittsburgh that receive support from the Crossroads Foundation. The interactive program focused on media messaging and how that contributes to our notion of masculinity/femininity.
"Your safe and guided curriculum...has helped to mold a program that makes Crossroads alumni more successful in their transition to college and more critically aware of the world around them" --Sean Hoover, program coordinator at Crossroads Foundation
